Julia Hoch (Founder)
I’ve been working in the New York arts scene for a couple of years now, and once you figure out all the nooks, crannies, email listservs, and have availability last minute, at 2 PM, on a weekday, you can see incredible new work. And I have. So I created Hyacinth to share the artists and art that I discover with you, my current or future friends in other professional pursuits. We have curated mixes for your commute, at the office, or while making dinner. We have post-work gatherings where share and discuss brand new work by up-and-coming artists. Hyacinth Productions is here to help you appreciate living in this terrific artistic city.
When I am not working on Hyacinth Productions, I work as a freelance director and writer. I have worked in varied artistic capacities with OperaColorado, Bard Summerscape, Williamstown Theatre Festival, Pittsburgh CLO, Charlottesville Opera, Concordia Conservatory, and Mark Stuart Dance Theatre. I studied Theatre and Economics at Williams College, and am an alumna of the National Theatre Institute at the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center. |
